Why VIP matters

The IAMBIC full precision-fit consultation measures 20 biometric variables from the full consultation. These signals come from the scan and the comfort assessment together. A biomechanical engineer from our Concierge team is trained in biomechanics by leading experts in footwear fit. They answer questions, check your scan in real time, confirm clean angles, and guide next steps.

Foot scan

We capture an accurate 3D model of your feet with calibrated camera angles. The biomechanical engineer directs camera placement so length, width, volume, arch height, instep, and heel shape are recorded correctly. This can be done in our NYC studio or on a video call from where you are, with real-time review.

Comfort assessment

Every question has a reason. Each answer influences shoe fit design, materials, and support. The assessment covers what you have worn, what worked, and what did not. We note workload and travel, tricky areas such as forefoot width or heel slip, and any hot spots. We record cushioning preferences and ground feel, your shoe rotation and favorites, and the context you live in such as dress code, surfaces, climate, and socks.

Why a biomechanical engineer

You get live guidance on both parts of the session. The Concierge engineer explains what each signal means and how it shapes geometry and comfort. In person is ideal if you prefer a studio setting in Midtown Manhattan. A video call is private and convenient from where you are.
