I want to introduce Maeve Wang, founder, co-founder of IAMBIC, and she’s an amazing lady. Met her about a month ago and we just clicked. Let me pass the mic over to her.

Thank you so much, Hilo. Thank you everyone here. Round of applause for Hilo and making this happen. Wonderful.

So, I’m here to answer your burning question. What in the world do shoes have to do with AI, have to do with cars, have to do with art and poetry? And it all started 5 years ago when I first discovered my obsession with F1. Initially, it was the sound, the speed, the spectacle, the thrill of it. But as I learned more about it, I realized that it’s really the intersection of precision engineering, of sculptural beauty, and this need for harmony and synchronicity among so many moving parts. And that was the lens that I started to view the whole world through and its potential.

Shoes, of all the things that we wear every day, have to support all of our weight every day we step out our front doors. Don’t they deserve to fit? But the issue is today that mass-produced shoes are designed around guesswork, not people. And true made-to fit shoes have been a dying craft that hasn’t changed in centuries. But in an age moving towards commercial space travel, towards self-driving cars, don’t our shoes deserve the same level of precision, of obsession, of excellence that we know that we’re capable of?

Have any of you heard of the term iambic pentameter? An iamb is a metrical foot, it’s how you measure rhythm in poetry. And what we’re doing at IAMBIC is getting you shoes that sync with your unique rhythm.

We are bringing AI tailored precision fit shoes to the world. Our technology transforms smartphone scans and data into perfectly tailored shoes for you. Three pictures of each foot using our app, and you get these gorgeous shoes that are personalized down to the millimeter.

Our shoe, this silhouette here, is called the MODEL T. Every facet of it has been designed with motorsport inspiration in mind, from its construction as a custom built chassis, to its multi compound rubber sole, to even the tire tread. Have any of you ever noticed how your shoes wear out differently on your inner heel, outer heel, right or left shoe? These ridges here function like wear bars on a tire. As your shoes wear out in a unique pattern, it’s based on your alignment, your balance, your gait. Before your next pair of IAMBIC shoes, whether it’s our next collab or our next colorway, you’ll have the chance to take pictures of your sole print, the different ridges, the different facets of the shoe, which we can use to fine-tune every new pair. Think of it as the shoe that evolves with you.

When I first met Elo and I saw his vision for how he’s transforming cars into a whole new experience, I knew that we were kindred spirits because we’re transforming shoes into a whole new experience.

When we met the Art Gods, the Art Gods are a collective of three incredible artists standing here with us today. These are not just artists, it’s another level of artistic expression.

First, blessings to everybody here, blessings for IAMBIC. Everybody that’s been very supportive of it. Going with the flow of things is generally how I’ve been as an artist and a creator, and that was generally the inspiration for this design and this style. My fellow brothers, the Art Gods, we just bounce off each other’s creativity and just come together. That’s what I love so much about what we created with IAMBIC, and we want to continue to keep growing stronger and higher with this first step, with this whole collab.

First off, thank you to Elo for setting this up. Shout out to Maeve, shout out to my team right here. What we’re doing out here is trying to bring art cross-pollinated with fashion and cross-pollinated with what we love, which is racecars. The reason why we’re doing three drops in one is because most companies do one drop. We decided to level up and do three at once. Thank you all for showing up.

Yo, what’s going on y’all. We celebrating F1 this weekend. What better way to create something so amazing. IAMBIC, I’m so grateful for Maeve, Elo for providing a platform to allow us to share and express ourselves through our creativity like this. For me, this is art from the soul, literally from the sole.

We wanted to give you guys an opportunity to take part in participating. We’re going to be starting some of the customization so you guys can see our process and we want you guys to join in. We’re going to start painting over here on the side to the right of us. If you’re interested in checking out more of our designs, we have some of our designs here in the VIP room. We’ll also be creating custom one of one designs that you can see and take part in, and pre-order today.

We’re so honored to launch this collection with them today in Miami. The reason we are here in Miami is because we are making history. I’m honored to share that IAMBIC’s MODEL T silhouette and this collection, Supercar Art Gods x IAMBIC, will have a permanent home in the Miami Shoe Museum. It will be alongside legends like Ferragamo, alongside shoes that date back to the 15th century, people who have redefined shoes for generation after generation.

It reinforces my belief that when future generations look back, they’ll have seen IAMBIC as inevitable when everyone is wearing precision fit shoes. When future generations look back, they’ll wonder why we ever accepted anything less than shoes that we love that absolutely fit us.

If this vision resonates with you, please meet the artists, come say hello. We’re also so honored because this moment is made possible through the Miami Downtown Development Authority, who’s brought us together with the Miami Shoe Museum, together with Supercar Rooms and the Art Gods. Thank you to this intersection of culture, of science, of technology.

There are 3D glasses, and when you view certain designs, they have a 3D visual element. One shoe over there is going to be an audience collaboration. Go over there and experience this immersive moment because that shoe, after its stint at the Miami Shoe Museum, you’ll have the chance to take it home with you. Enter your name and contact information on one of these cards, pop it into the golden tumbler, and yes, it is free.

Thank you so much Maeve and thank you to the Art Gods. Everybody that’s here, we’re getting ready to go do the interactive version of the shoot where you get a chance to paint with us on the shoe. Head over to the station, we’re going to get started. All right, thank you very much.
